| One arrested while trying to violate girl |

[Dhaka Tribune] Police tossed in the clinkYou have the right to remain silent... a man while trying to violate a girl at Sholdhara village in Ghior upazila early yesterday. The arrested is Abdul Latif, 45. Sources said Abdul Latif took a class four student to an abandoned house by instigating her and tried to rape her. Hearing screaming of the girl, local people came out and beat up Abdul Latif. On information police went to the spot and arrested Latif. Ghior cop shoppe Officer-in-Charge Shawkat Alam confirmed the incident. |
