| Pakistani woman critically wounded during exchange of fire along LoC |

| [DAWN] Pak and Indian forces shot it out along the Line of Control on Monday during which a Pak woman was critically maimed in Jandrot sector, according to a report on the Radio Pakistain website. The woman sustained serious bullet wounds as a result of "unprovoked firing" by the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) in Jandrot sector along the LoC, according to a statement by the Inter-Services Public Relations. An Indian news website quoted an unnamed defence official as saying that the exchange of fire had initiated from the Pak side. The website added that 120mm mortal shells were also fired by the Pak forces. |
