| Helicopter arrives in Kufra to transport injured |

| [Libya Herald] The Libyan government has sent a helicopter to the southern town of Kufra to transport those injured in the recent festivities there. Communal festivities in the southeastern oasis town has been taking place on-off for months. In July the Tebu-Zwai tribal tit-for-tat killings went kaboom!into bloody armed festivities with some 15 reportedly killed. The government and its Libyan National Army (LNA) has failed despite numerous efforts to put an end to the long ongoing festivities. The leader of Kufra city council, Muftah Bukhalil confirmed that in agreement with the Libyan government in Beida, two aircraft would be sent to his town bringing medicine and fuel and taking the injured back. |
