| [EN.ZAMANALWSL.NET] ISIS has seized control of the desert city of al-Qaryatayn east Homs after a major offensive started by Tuesday, followed by number on suicide bombs rocked Syrian army strongholds at the gates of the city, supporters of the hardline group and activists said Thursday. Syrian regime's powerful air base in Syria desert near ancient city of Palmyra has become a main target for the hardline Sunni group in order to take full control of Badiyat al-Sham. Last month witnessed fierce festivities in T-4 neighboring districts. Activists assured the impossibility of taking over the airport due to the strong reinforcements and the heavy arsenal existed inside T-4. |
