The Peoples' Protection Units (YPG) said its forces, plus the group's YPJ women's wing, had killed 386 ISIS holy warriors during the offensives. "During the operation 386 ISIS holy warriors were killed and the bodies of 117 were seized by YPG fighters. A number of ISIS leaders were also killed in the fight," said Azima Deniz, a commander of the YPJ. Hasaka's ISIS ruler, his assistant and the mayor of Dair al-Zur were also killed during the military operations. The Kurdish fighters seized large quantities of weapons and ammunitions from the radical group. ISIS attacked Hasaka on June 24 and occupied several neighborhoods within two days.
