Afghan officials said that 13 Death Eaters of the Taliban terrorist group were killed in festivities with government forces in the northeastern province of Badakhshan.
"At least 13 Talibs including three foreign nationals have been killed in Tirgaran area over the past two days," China's official Xinhua news agency quoted Colonel Sakhi Dad Haidari, a deputy provincial police chief, as saying on Saturday, adding that the government forces have been fighting tooth and nail to evict Talibs from the area.
