| Assad forces make gains east of Daraa: sources |

| [EN.ZAMANALWSL.NET] Syrian regime forces on Sunday have made gains in the eastern countryside of Daraa south Syria, taking control of three hills and district close to military airport, field source told Zaman al-Wasl. The fresh advances made by Bashir al-Assad forces near the Jordanian border rang the alarm bells of rebels as regime army can easily hit their strongholds on the eastern front, activists said. The army took control of Tel Hajer, Tel al-Sheikh Hussein, Mazraet al-Kuwaiti and neighboring district of al-Tha'leh military airport near Druze-dominated province of Sweida. ِAlso, Syria air strikes pounded towns of al-Msaifra, al-Tiba, al-Karak and Om Walad towns in the eastern countryside of Daraa.
