| [DAWN] A 12-year-old boy was accidentally rubbed out by his teacher while cleaning pistol in the school at Sangota area of Manglawar here on Thursday. According to Sangota police, Majid Ahmad, a teacher in a private school, accidentally shot his student dead. "A pistol went off from a teacher's hands when he was cleaning it. The bullet hit a fifth grade student leaving him dead on the spot," district police officer, Swat, Salim Marwat told Dawn. The school administration also said that the pistol went off accidentally hitting the student when he was passing by the staff room. "The teacher, Majid, himself rushed the student to the hospital and later handed over himself to the police," said the hospital sources.
