| Kenya: 2 dead, 2 others injured in Wajir assault |

| At least 2 people are known to have been killed and 2 others were injured in an attack by Al Shabab suspected gunmen near Samad Hospital in Wajir in North Eastern of Kenya, residents said. The attack was targeted area chief, according to residents who asked to be anonymous for security reasons. He added that guards and the militants exchanged huge gunfire during the ambush raid. The injured people were taken to hospital for medical treatment, medical officials said, adding that the victims are out of the critical conditions. No one claimed the responsibility for the ambush attack but Somalia’s Al Shabab militants launched dreadful attack on Garissa university collage in which has killed at least 148 people. |
