Soldier spends hours in morgue, uncle's farewell kiss saved his life
2015-06-06
[EN.ZAMANALWSL.NET] Syrian regime supporters circulated on social media a story of Syrian army soldier claimed he spent hours in the mortuary as medics thought he was dead.

Tarek Darwish, a soldier was severely injured in al-Qarmid battles in the northern province of Idlib two weeks ago.

Darwish had abdomen injuries and deep wounds, he was thought to be dead and put in the morgue fridge.

When his uncle doctor came to receive his body, he discovered that Darwish had slow pulse and heart beats from his experience as a doctor.

Darwish's story opens the door wide about the level of neglect soldiers in the Syrian army face, as, many of them bit the dust or parts of their bodies because of neglect.
Or maybe it's one of those freak morgue tales we see twice a year or so.
