| Baiji’s refinery under fierce ISIS attacks |

| (IraqiNews.com) Salahuddin – On Monday, Salahuddin Provincial Council announced, that Baiji’s oil refinery and the districts of Baiji and al-Dajil are under fierce attacks by ISIS militants. The deputy president of the security committee in Salahuddin Provincial Council, Khaled al-Khazraji, stated in an interview for IraqiNews.com, “The security campaign to liberate the rest of the areas in Salahuddin province from ISIS’s control is ongoing,” pointing out that, “Baiji’s refinery and the district of al-Dajil are constantly under fierce ISIS attacks .” Al-Khazraji added, “The forces are not blockaded inside the refinery, but they need reinforecments” calling the army’s air force to deal with the targets in the area of al-Jazirah, and noting that, “The ISIS attacks against Baiji’s refinery and the districts of Baiji and al-Dajil are coming from there.” |
