| Afghan delegation to meet with Taleban in Qatar |

| [ArabNews] An Afghan delegation is headed to Qatar ...an emirate on the east coast of the Arabian Peninsula. It sits on some really productive gas and oil deposits, which produces the highest per capita income in the world. They piss it all away on religion, financing the Moslem Brotherhood and several al-Qaeda affiliates... for "open discussions" with representatives of Taliban The scheduled meeting would mark a significant step toward opening formal talks to ending the war, but it was not clear on Friday whether the Taliban's reclusive supreme leader had approved them. A senior Taliban official in Qatar confirmed that a meeting was set for the next several days with Afghan figures, as well as some from Pakistain and other countries. The Taliban official also said that Hizb-e-Islami figures would participate in the meeting. |
