| ISIL executed over 2,100 people in Syria in 10 months: Monitoring group |

| [Iran Press TV] At least 2,100 people have been executed by the ISIL Takfiri ...an adherent of takfir wal hijra, an offshoot of Salafism that regards everybody who doesn't agree with them as apostates who must be killed... terrorist group in Syria over the past 10 months, a UK-based monitoring group says. The majority of those killed were Syrian civilians who were put to death by beheading, stoning, shooting, and immolation, the so-called Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said on Tuesday. At least 1,362 of those killed were civilians from Deir Ezzor, al-Raqqa, al-Hasakah, Aleppo, Homs and Hama provinces, 930 of whom belonged to the al-Shaitaat tribe in the eastern Deir Ezzor region. ISIL also executed 137 forces of Evil from the al-Qaeda affiliated Nusra Front and other terrorist groups. It also killed 126 of its own members for "exceeding the limits in religion and spying for foreign countries." Some 529 Syrian government troops, captured during festivities with the holy warriors, were also killed. |
