| Bombings in Iraqi capital kill 10 |

| [Rudaw] Two kabooms in Baghdad killed at least 10 people on Wednesday, Iraqi officials said. Police officials said a boom-mobile went off at noon Wednesday near a car repair shop in an eastern district, killing seven people and wounding 16 others. The blast also damaged several shops and cars. Security forces sealed off the area. Later, a kaboom killed three people and maimed six on a commercial street in a southwestern neighborhood, police officials said. A medical official confirmed the casualty figures from both attacks. All officials spoke on condition of anonymity because they are not authorized to talk to the media. The attacks come as Iraqi forces backed by U.S.-led ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi.
