| [Ynet] The White House said on Tuesday that the presence of a US aircraft carrier near Yemen ...an area of the Arabian Peninsula sometimes mistaken for a country. It is populated by more antagonistic tribes and factions than you can keep track of. Except for a tiny handfull of Jews everthing there is very Islamic... is intended to ensure freedom of navigation and commerce in the area. White House front man Josh Earnest cited energy, among other important commodities, as important shipments near the coast of Yemen that need protecting. |
