| Moroccan embassy attacked; IS claims responsibility |

| [Libya Herald] The main entrance of the Moroccan ambassador's residence next to the embassy in Tripoli ...a confusing city, one end of which is located in Lebanon and the other end of which is the capital of Libya. Its chief distinction is being mentioned in the Marine Hymn... 's Ben Ashour district was attacked very early this morning. An RPG missile is believed to have been used. Although there was substantial damage no one was hurt. The Moroccan ambassador and diplomats, like those from many countries, are no longer operating out of Tripoli. They left last August. Responsibility for the attack has been claimed by the Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allaharound with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not reallyMoslems.... (IS). It also claimed yesterday's attack outside the South Korean embassy in which two Libyans were killed. The attack comes two days before the main negotiations in the UN-brokered dialogue process are due to resume in the Moroccan resort of Skhirat. They are being hosted by the Moroccan government. |
