Powerful 3D-printed rifle fires NATO rounds

Actually, that's a Lahti L-39. A Finnish 20 mm anti-tank rifle used during the Second World War and has absolutely nothing to do with P2k's article.

#2  I had a college roommate who had worked with the Harley Davidson Racing Team from '95- 99 and they were using 3D printers back then.

3D printers are getting a lot of press now days, but have been around for at least two decades. Thought I'd put this out there for Rantburg consumption, as the tech seems new but is actually fairly matured. Granted affordable home 3D printers are fairly new to the show.

#1  Hey.. SpaceX used German 3D metal printers to print rocket engines out of metal. These guys printing rifles out of plastic need to change their 3D printers to ones that do tougher materials.
