[AFP] Russian security forces said on Saturday that they had killed seven terror suspects in an operation in Dagestan. The special operation was launched after receiving information that criminals were in a building in Dagestan's capital Makhatchkala. Russia's National Anti-Terror Committee (NAK) said "seven neutralized bandits were found" in the building. Its statement said that the men were behind attacks against the police and had been extorting money from local businesses to fund their terrorist activities.
