chapter, Dr Fayyaz, along with his driver was killed on Wednesday evening when two armed riders shot up their car in Shershah area of the metropolis.
SSP West said that armed assailants targeted the car of ASWJ leader. "Both the attackers were wearing helmets. The two were in a car when unknown gunnies started shooting at their vehicle."
The spokesperson of ASWJ confirmed the death of Dr Fayyaz and strongly condemned the attack. He asked the government to arrest those behind the killing of their leader.
A large number of police and Rangers personnel reached the spot and cordoned off the area as a probe into the incident went underway.
