Committee chairman Sadiq al-Husseini said in an interview for IraqiNews, "The joint security forces of the police and the army, backed by 300 volunteer fighters of Diyala people, have managed to penetrate three of the most important ISIS defensive lines in the vicinity of Albu Riyash, Albu Issa and al-Botalah villages, following fierce festivities in which dozens of ISIS elements were killed." Husseini added, "The defensive lines collapsed completely and dozens of ISIS murderous Moslems fled towards Hamrin," pointing out that, "The joint security forces reached the outskirts of Hamrin and are now preparing to attack it from three main axes in the next few hours." |
