DNI James Clapper: 2014 Will Have Been The Most Lethal Year For Global Terrorism
2015-02-27
[Real Clear Politics] DIRECTOR OF NAT'L INTELLIGENCE JAMES CLAPPER: When the final counting is done, 2014 will have been the most lethal year for global terrorism in the 45 years such a data has been compiled. About half of all attacks as well fatalities in 2014 occurred in just three countries: Iraq, Pakistan and Afghanistan.
But wait! Yesterday Sec of State Kerry said we have never been safer: "Our citizens, our world today is actually, despite the visible killings that you see and how horrific they are, we're actually living in a period of less daily threat to Americans and people in the world than normally, less violent deaths, less violent deaths today than through the last century."

#5  Unfortunately for Director Clapper, the US or US_ALlies will see mucho progressively worse iff they fail to defeat or destroy the ISIS + aligned, + Soon-to-Be-Nuclear Global Jihad.

THE LONGER THEY PUT IT OFF, THE GREATER THE EXISTENTIAL RISK THEY WILL PUT THEMSELVES IN.

#4  Blindly repeating talking points is not universally applied within the regime.

Which is why they're moving Ms. Harf from State to the White House.

#3  There seems to be a schism in the regime. JFnK and Clapper don't seem to agree on the threat level.

#2  Less lethal in many places, but then there is the Middle East, Chicago, Detroit, etc.

#1  Obama sure has succeeded making the world safer, unlike that warmonger Bush.
