| Pentagon expedites $17.9 mln equipment for Iraq | |

| [IraqiNews.com] The United States had expedited about $17.9 million worth of armaments, ammunition and other military supplies to the Iraqi government, the Pentagon announced on Wednesday. The U.S. Department of Defense (Pentagon) front man Colonel Steve Warren stated in a press statement obtained by IraqiNews, that ten thousand telescope and 100 thousand ammunition envelope
"The Defense Department has expedited $17.9 million in equipment and supplies -- some of which have already been delivered -- to the Iraqi government," The Pentagon front man Col. Steve Warren said. "It was an expedited delivery, which took 22 days from the time of signature -- a letter of authorization -- until delivery. This is less than a quarter of the time it normally takes to execute these types of deliveries," Warren added. | |
