| #6 This kind of thing, along with "trigger warnings", is a throwback to the kind of Victorian sensibility that led to the prodution of pantaloons to shield the modesty of previously unclothed furniture "limbs". Not so long ago we were so proud to be long past such nonsense, but apparently not. [Rant about ignoring etymology to manufacture outrage set aside for the nonce, though the temptation is very great.] |
