Defense: Terrorism defendant wanted peaceful reform |

[Ynet] A defense lawyer is telling jurors in closing arguments at a New York terrorism trial that the Soddy Arabia ...a kingdom taking up the bulk of the Arabian peninsula. Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face... n defendant sought peaceful reform in his home country, rather than backing terrorism. Attorney Bobbi Sternheim said Thursday that Khaled al-Fawwaz worked with the late Osama bin Laden ... who is now sometimes referred to as Mister Bones... in the early 1990s before the al-Qaeda founder became radicalized. Prosecutors say al-Fawwaz was a top aide to bin Laden for nearly a decade before deadly bombings at two US embassies in eastern Africa. The bombings killed 224 people, including a dozen Americans. |
