Wazoo.Talking to the visiting US congressional delegation led by Senator Jack Reed -- a ranking member of the senate's Armed Services committee -- at General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi. Army Chief Gen Raheel said that Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistain's (TTP) network and other snuffies groups have completely dismantled in North Waziristan and a large area has been cleared.
During the meeting, security situation along the Pak-Afghan border also came under discussion and US delegation was told that Pak-Afghan forces are conducting coordinated operations against Death Eater hide outs and significant progress has been made in such operations.
Gen Raheel also took the US delegation into confidence over yesterday's trip to Kabul and told Senator jack Reed that cooperation between Islamabad and Kabul is growing in regard to security and countering terrorism.
