Israel: US deal will leave Iran with 6,500 centrifuges spinning, months from a bomb
2015-01-31
[IsraelTimes] Ratcheting up dispute with Obama, Jerusalem sources tell Israeli TV emerging US agreement puts Tehran 'closer than thought' to nuclear capability

Ratcheting up a confrontation with the B.O. regime still further, officials in the Netanyahu government reportedly claimed Friday night that the US has already agreed in principle to a deal that would leave Iran capable of enriching enough uranium for a nuclear bomb within "mere months."
Goody.
Israel Channel 10 TV news said the deal taking shape would allow Iran to continue enriching uranium in "over 7,000″ centrifuges. It quoted unnamed Jerusalem sources saying the terms of the deal would leave Iran "closer than was thought" to nuclear weapons, "mere months from producing enough material for a bomb," and that the US has agreed to 80% of Iran's demands.

A similar report on Channel 2 news said the US was ready for Iran to keep enriching uranium in 6,500 of its 9,000 centrifuges. It also said that the US was proposing "a time limit" on the deal -- possibly of 10 or 15 years -- after which "Iran will be free to continue a nuclear industry."
Ten years is the maximum for a hudna, a truce made with unbelievers, per Mohammed's example. How nice that President Obama already knows that from his schooldays.
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu was said to have indicated to confidants that he feels he has "no choice" but to speak out against the imminent deal, including at a controversial address scheduled for March 3 to Congress, Channel 10 said. Netanyahu does not intend to speak against President Barack Obama
I've now been in 57 states -- I think one left to go...
, or to give a partisan address, or to focus overly on sanctions, but rather to talk strongly against the deal, the report said.

#8  The Senate must make it clear to O&Co that his negotiations with the MMs are going to go nowhere. His negotiations are just Kabuki theatre to enable the MMs to have the time to further U235 concentrating.

Time to call the process what it is and to neutralize the present er president from selling the U.S. and the rest of civilization down the river.

Obama is one of those little bastards that would sneak up behind you to hit you in the back of the head and then run away. Bibi, otoh, knows how to play street ball.

#6  Bill and Kojo: the reason Tehran wants a bomb is simple. They will use it to 1) threaten their neighbors and change the behavior of those states towards them and 2) deter the U.S. from bothering them.

People may not remember that while our nuclear weapons deterred the Soviets, their weapons also deterred us. Iran would count on their weapons stopping us from doing certain things in the region that we otherwise would do.

Their weapons would have a substantial effect on the behavior of the small Gulf states. Kuwait, Bahrain, UAE, etc, would have to kowtow more to the Mad Mullahsâ„¢. The consequences of not doing so would be quite bad. The Saudis would either get nuclear weapons themselves or likewise be put into a compromised situation.

Let Iran possess nuclear weapons and the Middle East becomes more to Iran's liking.

#5  Kojo or whatever your name is/was, the only reason I doubt the Iranians have the bomb already is that it has not been used on us.

The Iranians are not stupid, fanatical yes, stupid no, they understand prevailing winds and fallout and know a nuke launched at Tel Aviv will result in a radioactive plume coming down on themselves.

The only and I mean ONLY logical target of an Iranian nuke is US.

The real Kabuki theater is them pretending to develop an ICBM to deliver the nuke to us. I believe they have developed a means of delivering the nuke to our country through Central American based upon their minions development of close ties with the Mexican cartels.

I believe and I hope I am wrong that a city in the US will disappear within months of Iran having the bomb...provided ISIS doesn't get their hands on a Pakistani one via ISI and the crazy crap tin hats in charge in Pakistain.

#2  Iran has been "months from a bomb" for a decade at least. I think they long since have it. What we see is Kabuki merely.
