| [DAWN] PAKISTANS civilian government and military have come together to fight terrorism with an integrated National Action Plan (NAP). Its primary economic activity involves exporting oil and soaking Islamic rubes on the annual hajj pilgrimage. The country supports a large number of princes in whatcha might call princely splendor. When the oil runs out the rest of the world is going to kick sand in the Soddy national face... and Pakistain to defeat the Soviet Union in Afghanistan. Some three decades later, jihadi culture permeates every part of society. Unravelling this legacy will require immediate and long-term measures with dedicated civilian and military resources. |
