Juba forces arrest 100's over bomb attack |

Somalia's interim Juba administrative forces have on Saturday launched huge security operation in the parts of port city of Kismayo, following grenade attack that left 2 soldiers dead in town, witnesses said. The tough security operation which carried out in Kismayo, saw the arrest of hundreds of people, mainly residents in suspects for connection with bomb attack that killed 2 Juba soldiers overnight in the town. All the people were separately arrested in Kismayo neighborhoods during home to home crackdown, adding they are now being questioned at police station about the bomb attack in the town, Shabelle correspondent said. Somalia's Interim Juba administrative officials declined to give details on the operations which its forces nabbed hundreds of local residents on suspicion of grenade attacks that killed 2 soldiers among an officer. Kismayo, a town situates 528 km southwest of Mogadishu, Somalia capital, is under control Somalia’s interim Juba soldiers backing by Kenya forces under serving AU mission in Somalia. |
