Sunni tribes threaten to seek help from Tehran to fight ISIS if Washington does not respond
2014-12-30
[IraqiNews.com] On Monday, news report revealed that Sunni tribal leaders threatened the United States to obtain weapons from Iran to fight ISIS since their demands are not yet fulfilled, while criticizing Washington?s duplicity in dealing with the Sunni provinces?asked for US ground forces, arms and money to speed up the operations to liberate their territories?compared to the Kurds.

?Al Jazeera International? said in a report followed by IraqiNews.com, ?The Sunni tribes in Iraq are studying the option of Iranian assistance to get arms and training to fight the ISIS organization in case the United States does not respond to their demands,? explaining that ?The warning came during the meeting of U.S. Senator John Maverick McCain
... the Senator-for-Life from Arizona, former presidential candidate and even more former foot soldier in the Reagan Revolution...
with a number of tribal elders and members of the House of Representatives, representing the provinces of Anbar, Salahuddin, Diyali and the surrounding areas of Baghdad in his brief visit to Baghdad last Friday.?

Al Jazeera said that three Sunni figures attended and presented a list of demands to McCain, asking for U.S. ground troops, weapons and money to speed up the liberalization of areas seized by ISIS. They also demanded granting a greater role to the tribes in the fight against the terrorist organization. It was stated that these Sunni figures made it clear to McCain that they are considering alternatives about the military support to confront ISIS, and Iran was on the top of the list.

* DEFENCE.PK/FORUMS > OBAMA: IRAN TO BE A VERY SUCCESSFUL REGIONAL POWER.

HHMMMM, HHMMM, as oppos to being a OWG Global Co-Superpower, Nukulaar + all, leading one or more various OWG Global Federal Union(s)???

Artic is broadly true - but the SNAFU/FUBAR is the Anti-US OWG Globalist agenda which wants IRAN + OTHER to be "US-style" Co-Superpowers, IN PARITY WID THE US NOT INFERIORITY.

AGAIN, TO BE A "US-STYLE" CO-SUPERPOWER AS DEFINED BY THE GLOBIES, THEPOST-COLD WAR "SOLE" SUPERPOWER USA MUST UNILATERALLY VOLUNTARILY GIVE UP OR SURRENDER, ETC. SOMETHING SO THAT THESE CO-SUPS CAN RISE TO PARITY.

IOW, Iran = Russia = China = ..., etc. = being a lowly or mere "Regional Power" isn't gonna cut the mustard, either for these Nations andor espec the OWG Globies.

Iran's army + NGOS in Iraq are almost as large as the Iraqi Army = ISF + getting larger, + could very easily devol or turn into a major geopol or strategic headache for the USA iff the latter miscalculates on Iran's intentions or agenda.

#5  As said times before, this may be the way how a US-Iran war may start in the ME, wid Shia/Houthi-troubled, Base-too-Far Sunni Qatar asking the ISIS/ISIL + aligned to help contain or defeat the Shia/Houthi insurgency, a move which in turn could invite direct military intervention by Iran in its desire to protect its Shia brethren on the Arabian Peninsula.

The US-Allies have to decide what kind of mutually beneficial compromise including pro-Shia reforms can be realistically achieved + supported.

#1  Good, I'm about tired of hearing about the US supplying weapons and money to all these different groups with no return what so ever.
