Malik Ishaq in judicial custody for two weeks in a murder case.

Ishaq was produced before Special Magistrate Ghulam Mujtaba Baloch in a murder and terrorism case lodged with Airport Police Station (Rahim Yar Khan).

The FIR No. 245/14 had been lodged on Oct 14, 2014 on the complaint of Husain Abbas, son of Allah Ditta, who was killed in a sectarian attack. The case was lodged under Pakistain Protection Act 2014. The court had rejected physical remand, observing that physical remand of a suspect who was booked on charges of abetment, could not be granted.

The court has granted 14-day judicial remand of the suspect and fixed Jan 7 the next date of hearing.
