| Study: Israeli home demolitions deter terrorism |

| Israeli house demolitions effectively decrease terrorist attacks, according to a new study. The study, “Counter-Suicide-Terrorism: Evidence from House Demolitions,” to be published in the January issue of the Journal of Politics, found that Israel’s policy of demolishing the homes of Palestinian terrorists causes “an immediate, significant decrease in the number of suicide attacks.” Co-authored by researchers at Northwestern University and the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, the study runs contrary to the widely held belief that punitive house demolitions do not dissuade would-be terrorists. |

| #5 Things won't change in Iraq or Afghanistan (or any muslim country) until you remove the major cause of all the problems in the first place - Islam. Until you do that, nothing CAN change. Remove Islam, which says everything has to be done the same way Mohammed supposedly did it, and even the Arabs can learn when enough pain is applied. |

| #4 Notice how when its applied to entire countries, see-German and Japan, it alters historically deep streaks of militarism and aggression. When war "hits home" people really begin to pay attention. It works. At some point you almost have to tear down everything before it can be rebuilt in a different form. I'm not so certain it works for the troglodytes in Afghanistan and Pakistan. It hasn't really been tried there other than in the early days after 911 and only for a short while in a limited way. Intensive bombings brought the North Viets and Viet Cong to consider surrendering during the Vietnam War until they realized there was a growing left opposition in the U.S. and they instead decided to hang on.
