| Bomb explosion targets pilgrims in Baghdad |

| Seven pilgrims who were heading towards karbala province from Baghdad were either killed or injured due to a bomb explosion in eastern Baghdad on Saturday. Security official told IraqiNews.com, "A bomb exploded in Filisteen Road of eastern Baghdad targeting pilgrims heading towards Karbala province," noting that" The explosion resulted in killing two pilgrims and injuring five others." "Security forces cordoned off the explosion area while the dead bodies were transferred to the morgue and the injuries were sent for hospital for treatment," the source concluded. |
