(Rantburg Exclusive) Canadian Vet Establishes anti-ISIS Expeditionary Force |
2014-12-01 |
A newly established North American all volunteer force (1st North American Expeditionary Force) of former American and Canadian military personnel has voiced support for Kurdish operations against ISIS on official YPG, YPJ twitter accounts. The 1st North American Expeditionary Force says it is neither a militia or PMC (Private Military Corporation) and is not affiliated with the Canadian or United States Federal Government. The expeditionary force is founded by a Canadian veteran who is assisting American and Canadian veterans who wish to go to Iraq to fight as an allied unit alongside the Kurds in their struggle with the ISIS terrorist organization. #7 Honor Duty Motivator... Two Canadian Troops were killed recently by ISIS lone wolves in Canada. With Canada still ignoring the threat, these soldiers will not bury their dead and let this continue. FBI issued a bulletin this weekend to all state side US troops to expect the same threat. One way or the other, these veterans will find a way to Serve Protect |

#2 "Hemingway-esque" I suppose a more recent version would be the Donbass of Novorossiya, who had a nice flag. |

#1 The U.S. government really doesn't have a very enviable track record with regard to the treatment of such efforts. |
