#1  There's no such thing as a "moderate rebel". Anyone willing to kill and die in the name of Islam is not moderate. Let's be clear, these zealots are being trained in Turkey to fight against an axis-of-evil state only because it suits US/Western interests at the moment. Turkey's current leadership is Islamist and has questionable motives. They have been Israel intolerant - although relations may be changing. These trained "moderates" being sent back to the Syrian powder keg will fight Assad forces and ISIS - following which we will have more "moderates" to contend with.
