Baghdad (AFP) - The Islamic State group launched a major attack on the Iraqi city of Ramadi Friday, attempting to seize one of the last urban pockets under government control in troubled Anbar province. |

#3 recent reports are that ISIS forces are within 1/2 mile of the last govt forces near the govt center the govt forces are fighting better than they did when Mosul fell, partly because they know they will likely be slaughtered if they are captured |
