#5  Bitten by a pet monkey?

I also thought a 2 year old as patient zero, a bit odd.

#4  You can get it from a monkey or bat bite as well.

#3  perhaps that is why they are euthanasing the dogs of ebola sufferers (eg the spanish nurse)

#2  A toddler wouldn't be hunting for bush meat, nor would he be involved in butchering.

Perhaps he was bitten or scratched by an asymptomatic domesticated or semi-domesticated animal kept as a pet. Something like a small cute dog.

Hopefully the 'top men' will be looking into this.

#1  two-year-olds... germ factories! Slobber and dribble, put stuff in their mouths, touch everything...

Poor little mite probably had a horrible end. Another one just caught a bus all through Mali...
