A Taliban shadow governor in Nad Ali district is among the arrested people who arrived in the country recently after finishing military training outside Afghanistan, the statement said, adding that six others Lions of Islam were captured and their arms seized in northern Faryab province. The NDS was also able to arrest Aqil Khan, an bully boy who placed roadside mines in Pashtun-infested Logar province to target the Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF), on Kabul-Pashtun-infested Logar highway, as well as four Lions of Islam active in eastern Nangarhar and western Nimruz provinces. The NDS has not provided details of the Afghan causalities yet. |
