| Turkey to Expel Detained Kobane Kurds to Syria |

| [An Nahar] Turkey is planning to expel a group of Syrian Kurds who fled the besieged town of Kobane but were then detained for over a week on suspicion of having links to rebel Kurdish groups, a Turkish politician said on Thursday. Ibrahim Ayhan, a politician for the pro-Kurdish People's Democratic Party (HDP), said the group of over 150 Kurds still being held did not want to return to Syria amid the advance by Islamic State ...formerly ISIS or ISIL, depending on your preference. Before that al-Qaeda in Iraq, as shaped by Abu Musab Zarqawi. They're very devout, committing every atrocity they can find in the Koran and inventing a few more. They fling Allaharound with every other sentence, but to hear the pols talk they're not reallyMoslems.... (IS) jihadists. |
