| Terror suspect arrested in southern Thailand |

| Thai police and Army officials combined today in an operation to arrest a man who is believed to be behind many attacks in the southern province of Yala province. Sakariya Surong was apprehended during a raid on a house in Krong Peenang district early on Saturday. A police source said Sakariya has several arrest warrants against him, involving many attacks in several districts, especially in Panare district.
