The blast took place in Panj Fitti area of Jinnah Town through a time device planted in a bicycle. The kaboom was so powerful it was heard from far distances and in the suburbs of Quetta city and broke glasses of the nearby buildings.
CCPO Quetta Razzaq Cheema told media representatives that the unknown assailants hid the IED bomb in a bicycle. He said that the security has been increased in the area to avoid anymore untoward incidents.
The inured have been shifted to Civil Hospital Quetta, where an emergency is imposed.
