| Traffic policeman shot dead in Peshawar |

| [DAWN] Unknown assailants on Friday rubbed out a traffic policeman at Chongi Chowk in limits of Bala Maneri cop shoppe here. "Hey, bud! The sign sez 'No Left Turn!' Can'tcha read?" [BANG1] "Aaaiiieee!" An investigation officer, while referring to the initial details said that constable Ihsanullah Khan was performing duty near a bus stand when the attackers riding a car came there and opened fire on him with a pistol, killing him on the spot. The attackers escaped the area. It is to be recalled that a traffic warden, Sub-Inspector Moslem Khan, was killed by unknown gunnies in May this year. |
