US will not coordinate airstrikes on ISIL with Syria: Kerry
2014-09-15
Well, of course not, if we're not at war with them.
[Iran Press TV] The United States says it will not coordinate future Arclight airstrikes on ISIL Death Eaters inside Syria despite warnings by Damascus that any unauthorized strike on its soil is an act of aggression.

"We're not going to coordinate it with Syria... it's not a cooperative effort," US Secretary of State John F. I was in Vietnam, you know Kerry
Former Senator-for-Life from Massachussetts, self-defined war hero, speaker of French, owner of a lucky hat, conqueror of Cambodia, and current Secretary of State...
said during an interview aired Sunday with CBS News.

"We will certainly want to deconflict to make certain that they're not about to do something that they might regret even more seriously, but we're not going to coordinate," he added.

"We will do that with allies," the top US diplomat said in the interview, which was taped in Cairo, Egypt on Saturday.

Kerry has been traveling throughout the Middle East over the past week working to build a coalition of nations to fight ISIL.

During a speech on Wednesday, President Barack Obama
Republicans can come along for the ride, but they've got to sit in the back...
authorized US Arclight airstrikes against ISIL bases in Syria.

The Pentagon has already conducted more than 150 Arclight airstrikes against the targets of the terror network in neighboring Iraq.

Analysts say the military strikes will add Syria to the list of countries attacked by a Washington-based government that speaks loudly about international law at the same time that it violates international law at will.

The hard boy group now controls large parts of Syria's northern territory and sent its fighters into neighboring Iraq in June, quickly seizing vast expanse of land straddling the border between the two countries.

#11  As per MSM-Net, Jaawhn appears to be giving waffling or conflicting messages ... ...

To wit,

* WASHINGTON FREE BEACON > IRAN'S SUPREME LEADER
MOCKS OBAMA'S ISIL STRATEGY, CLAIMS KERRY ASKED
[i.e. SSSSHHHH ... PCCCCC "demanded"] IRAN TO HELP FIGHT ISIL.

* CNN AM > BARZANI: IRAN, US SHOULD UNITE AGZ ISIS.

* TOPIX > ABC News] US HAVING A HARD TIME BETWEEN "COMMUNICATING" + "COORDINATING" WID IRAN.

versus

* TOPIX > HEZBOLLAH VOWS TO DESTROY ISLAMIC STATE IN SYRIA.

But they still promise to hate the Bammer = USA afterward.

Well there ya go ... ...

#10  I've read somewhere Russian pilots are already in Iraq flying fighters. I'll have to try and find the story.

#9  Be funny as heck if Vlad offered to send a combat force to Iraq. Heads would explode.

But he won't because it would give Barry a way to get unstuck from his tarbaby.

#8  The jury is still out on whether the Bammer's anti-ISIS strategy in Syria is wholly or partly also about getting rid of Baby Assad.

What I want to find out is iff Globalist Obama = pro-OWG Co-Superpower(s) Obama is giving Vlad = SCO-CSTO El Supremo Russia an opportunity to finally militarily engage the ISIS + other in Syria alongside Assad + Iran???

#4  I feel like I'm watching an old Looney Tune where the fat guy keeps hitting himself on the head with a mallet and twiddling his mouth going blah-di-di-blah-di-blah.

WHEN THE F*** DID WE ENTER THE TWILIGHT ZONE?????

#2  "We will certainly want to deconflict to make certain that they're not about to do something that they might regret even more seriously, but we're not going to coordinate," he added.

How can target deconfliction not entail some degree of coordination? Someone please help me here.

#1  This is a job for Milo Minderbender. I see no reason the syndicate cannot both coordinate air strikes with Syria and also bomb the crap out of them.

Note: this is yet another example of how free market capitalism can make War better. For everyone.
