US identifies nearly a dozen citizens joining terror groups
2014-08-30
[Iran Press TV] Nearly a dozen Americas who have traveled to Syria to fight for the ISIL terrorist organization have been identified by US intelligence and law enforcement agencies, according to a new report.

Senior American officials say the ISIL terror network has been successful in attracting more American and European fighters to Syria in recent months, The New York Times
...which still proudly displays Walter Duranty's Pulitzer prize...
reported on Thursday.

ISIL has attracted both men and women from different parts of the United States, US officials said. In Minnesota, for example, young Somali-American women were being recruited by violent groups to support the snuffies in Syria.

US intelligence agencies have been able to specifically identify Americans fighting for ISIL based on information collected from travel records, family members, intercepted electronic communications, social media postings and surveillance of Americans abroad who had expressed interest in going to Syria, the officials said.

The US government estimates that as many as 300 Americans are fighting alongside the brutal group in Iraq and Syria, prompting widespread concern in Washington that the snuffies may threaten the US upon their return.

Many more Europeans-- more than 1,000, according to many estimates-- have joined ISIL in Syria to fight against Hereditary President-for-Life Bashir Pencilneck al-Assad

. The British government has identified about 500 of its citizens who have gone to Syria.

US military officials say the savage bully boy group is growing in strength and is much more capable than the one US forces faced when the group was called "al Qaeda-Iraq" during the US war in Iraq from 2003-2011.

Since the beginning of the Syrian unrest in 2011, at least four Americans have died fighting for terror groups. Last week, Douglas McAuthur McCain, 33, was killed by a US-backed bully boy group battling ISIL.

On Thursday, The Washington Post reported that at least four Western hostages were waterboarded by ISIL, the same practice that was used by the George W. Bush administration on detainees during the so-called war on terrorism.

All no doubt, benefits of new technology and Tactics Techniques and Procedures which were little known or unavailable for last year's Boston Bombing.
