RALEIGH, N.C. -- A former American sailor convicted during the Cold War of leading a family spy ring for the Soviet Union has died in a prison hospital in North Carolina, officials said Friday. Retired Navy Warrant Officer John A. Walker Jr. died Thursday at the Federal Medical Center in Butner, Federal Bureau of Prisons spokesman Chris Burke said. The cause of death was not immediately released. He was 77. Hopefully his death involved a great deal of pain and suffering. |

#5 I am comforted by the fact that the Navy thought he was a 4.0 sailor. I, on the other hand, was shit on and worked hard. Everything does come out in the wash in the end. |
