| US military failed to free Americans from ISIL in Syria: Pentagon |

| [Iran Press TV] The US military says it "recently" attempted an air and ground operation to rescue American hostages held by ISIL holy warriors in Syria, but failed to find them. "This operation involved air and ground components and was focused on a particular captor network within ISIL," Pentagon front man Rear Admiral John Kirby said in a statement issued on Wednesday. "Unfortunately, the mission was not successful because the hostages were not present at the targeted location," Kirby added. President Barack Obama Because I won... 's top counterterrorism aide, Lisa Monaco, said the mission was authorized by the president. The revelation came a day after ISIL released a gruesome video showing US journalist James Foley being beheaded by turbans. | #13 Only my opinion swksvolFF, but the article released by the Pentagon reads like the aftermath of the Benghazi Affair, where the USG response was a "Day late and a dollar short" with the hint of "we at least we tried" unlike the Daniel Pearl Affair, a CYA move by the PUBAHs in DC and a nose thumb to "W"'s Admin, which the Big O's admin likes to compare events to, 7-10 years on. Really only time will tell, someone is bound to let something slip, be mindful of the sources in all news reporting, we do not have a very critical MSM where Barry is concerned. |

Hidden messages indeed - off the top of my head a video is released, on frame x = Bagdadi's favorite fatwa about sex among fellow soldiers is encouraged, overajust the saturation and Abu has a Long Mustache pops up; and then what does that mean? My question is about this report - is it in itself a Psyop, did it really happen (and if so why publically confirm it), or is this PR CYA crap at the expense of those involved in the mission? |

| #8 Why am I hearing about this? swksvolFF Well, I guess some of you may or may not be aware that the ISIS is very successful in spreading its message through "social media". The #6 "message" was my poor attempt of illustrating how seemly innocuous statements can be used by the bad guys to transfer messages but I made a mistake and posted it before adding this piece below. | #1 HHHMMMM, HHHHMMMM, I find it intehwesting that the ISIS blamed the beheading of Foley on Obama-ordered US airstrikes agz them in Iraq, NOT on any failed US commando attempt to rescue him in Syria. AFAIK the ISIS has failed to mention, infer, or direct-link to the rescue attempt at all. |
