2014-07-28 |
Abdiweli Sheikh Ahmed, the Prime Minister of the Somali Federal Republic reported to the media in Mogadishu that the government troops that are currently operating in Mogadishu will be backed up by reinforcements, apparently because the current troops are not doing enough to safeguard the security. Mr. Ahmed said that the troops that are to be deployed in Mogadishu will be brought in international countries, some that have been trained by EUTM on the outskirts of Mogadishu and a fleet of soldiers that have just finished training in Sudan. Furthermore, the Prime Minister commemorated that Al-SHabaab have been disguising in government soldiers’ uniform to stage insecurity attacks, and for that reason, he pledged that in the coming days the government will issue a notice regarding soldiers’ uniform. |
