#6 Id rather it happen before I too old to help. Rather us old folks ear more of the brunt and give the grand kids and great grand's a free nation. |

#5 Interesting article. I have a few aging relatives that have verbally confided that they just want to 'get on with it' before they are too old to participate. |

#4 A very analytical, very dark vision. Sort of a continuation on Heinlein's "Bad Luck" riff: Throughout history, poverty is the normal condition of man. Advances which permit this norm to be exceeded — here and there, now and then — are the work of an extremely small minority, frequently despised, often condemned, and almost always opposed by all right-thinking people. Whenever this tiny minority is kept from creating, or (as sometimes happens) is driven out of a society, the people then slip back into abject poverty. This is known as “bad luck.” #3 The Road creeped me out for all time. |

#3 The veneer of civilization is thin. The Progressive claptrap is dangerous and makes it thinner and thinner and more and more lawless. At some point, things begin to look like Cormack McCarthy's "The Road." Not a pretty site. |

#2 When the levee breaks, all hell will come with it. And there will be massive consequences imposed on the progressives. Violent, permanent consequences. |
