2014-06-14 |
[MAGHAREBIA] Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb on Friday (June 13th) grabbed credit for last month's attack on the home of Tunisia's interior minister, AFP reported. The fighters went to the Kasserine home of Lotfi Ben Jeddou on May 27th to "cut off his head", AQIM said in a statement posted on a jihadist internet forum. Ben Jeddou, who was not in the house, "got away this time, but he won't the next", the statement said. Four coppers were killed in the attack. |
