[Iran Press TV] Clashes have broken out in Egypt as tens of thousands of Moslem Brüderbund supporters join rallies to protest against the army-backed government.Major cities in Egypt became the scene of violent festivities on Friday as people gathered to condemn the judiciary for handing death penalties and lengthy jail sentences to Moslem Brüderbund members.
The demonstrations were held at the request of Egypt's Anti-Coup Alliance, led by the Moslem Brüderbund, which has called for a weeklong protest starting from Friday under the slogan "Freedom for Egypt".
In the capital Cairo, security forces fired teargas and birdshot to disperse protesters.
