#6 It doesn't dawn on the bureaucrats to use the False Claim Act to recover at least the bonuses paid to these yahoos who pushed false numbers on their reporting. I guess that's filed under 'professional courtesy'. |

#4 There it is again - "right person" Remember, a lot of these former GOs had the authority to relieve subordinates thus trashing careers which would last till the next 'second pass over' for promotion at the latest (roughly four years). No such ability exists in civil 'servant' world. Maybe if people had the 'right' tools, the issue of finding the 'right' person wouldn't be so hard. |

#3 What we're looking for here is someone with a 'career death-wish', as the fix requires more money than they'll ever get, where solving things only delays the bad news (everybody dies eventually, right?), and where our social elite don't care anyway. Sounds like a job for Hillary. |
